privacy policy

what a day. (whataday.co) is run by CAMMY LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
what we collect
- When you order: your name, email, shipping address and phone number, what you bought, and the amount paid. Stripe collects your payment details directly; we never receive your full card number.
- When you join the email list: your email address, when and where on the site you signed up, and the discount code we gave you.
- When you visit: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We record which picture you opened and which site or campaign link brought you to us, and attach that to your order, so we know what's working.
- On your device: the site stores a few small items in your browser (whether you closed the signup card, your discount code, where you came from). We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies for fraud prevention.
how we use it
- To make, ship and support your order, including emails about your order and any change to its ship date.
- To send you new drops and offers, only if you signed up or ticked the box at checkout. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with the services that run the store for us: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), our manufacturer and fulfilment partner (to make and ship your hat), the carrier delivering it, and our email provider (to send you mail). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
how long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting, typically seven years. Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing emails, by writing to us. Depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have further rights, including to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for using your rights. We'll answer within the time the law requires and may need to confirm it's you.
children
The store isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
security
We use reputable providers and keep access to order data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you if something happens that affects your information, as the law requires.
changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
